LSU was picked to finish 2nd in West behind Auburn. Flordia was picked to win the SEC and East followed by Georgia. The Advocate's Scott Rabalais wrote a great article on the reason why LSU wasn't picked. Read it Here.

If LSU had more stability at quarterback, they would have been picked first.
I agree, but Auburn has a new Quarterback as well with a few holes in the depth chart.
